Preparing to Come to Earlham
If you have not already done so, confirm your intent to attend Earlham College
  1. Submit required documents in the Initial/Transfer I-20 Request (requests will be sent to you via email).
  2. Receive your Certificate of Eligibility: Form I-20 (F-1) or DS-2019 (J-1)
  3. Apply for your F-1 or J-1 student visa
  4. Learn the rules for your visa:
  5. Complete other required arrival information (specific requests will be in the New Student Portal or on your User Home Page).
  6. Come to Earlham, start classes, and meet wonderful people from around the world!
All students traveling from outside of the United States should plan to arrive at the Dayton International Airport on Wednesday, Aug. 16th, 2023 for New International Student Orientation. Earlham's general New Student Orientation (NSO) will take place on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023. Please be sure to submit your flight information here to notify Earlham so that we can be prepared for your arrival and help arrange transportation. Please send any changes to your arrival information to NSO@earlham.edu. Check out the New Student Orientation webpage for more information.

Students arriving prior to the first day of new international student orientation will need to arrange their own transportation, housing and meals until that date. We ask that you avoid arriving early unless it is absolutely necessary. Please note that students on a new, initial I-20 may not enter the U.S. more than 30 days before your program start date.
